Prayer doesn’t make us rich. How many of us, Black Millennials and Gen Zers, grew up being told that if we just prayed enough, everything would magically fall into place? I’ve been there. Heard it so many times that I actually believed it. But after years of praying and watching, my life barely moved. Nah. Prayer alone isn’t going to pay our bills, grow a business, or get us wealthy.
Here’s the part no pastor is going to tell you. Wealth doesn’t come from asking—it comes from doing. The Hebrews knew this. Real wealth starts with you and what you create. You don’t need more prayers. You need action. Build. Create. Design your life. That’s the power no one talks about. It’s real, and it works.
